Steve Heather
Managing Director
Steve Heather has a long history in the earthmoving machinery industry spanning 33 years, with 23 of those at a leading Caterpillar dealership.
Steve doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty - he is a plant mechanic by trade so he knows his way around most machines on the market. He knows how to get the job done with minimum fuss and optimum results.
He has held management positions in machinery service, used equipment and sales as well as 13 years as Maintenance Manager and Machinery Buyer/Seller for one of the largest privately owned construction companies in NSW - so he understands the strengths and weaknesses of each brand and model - invaluable knowledge and experience that really matters. Before that time, Steve worked In the largest equipment dealer in NSW for many years.
As a director of Tracforce since formation, Steve has built an international reputation as a trusted dealer in quality machinery. Empire, Mustang, and Finnings to name a few dealerships that have long standing supply relationships with Tracforce.

What We Do
Tracforce is in the business of acquiring experienced, work-ready, quality, earthmoving machinery. Whilst expensive new equipment might be the standard for some big corporations, Tracforce - like our clients - see the value for money and affordability of purchasing quality used machinery.
We source only the very best equipment from a small group of trusted dealers worldwide - the same dealers we have dealt with for many years. If we source a piece of machinery outside our supplier network it is inspected thoroughly prior to purchase to ensure we are offering quality and affordability.
We match machines to clients’ needs so If we don’t have the right machine in stock, we will go to the ends of the earth to find it! Our team understands the earthmoving and mining industries and can work with you and our suppliers to find the right machines that meet your needs, project and budget.
Our freight network moves machinery worldwide onboard trucks and are strict about shipping with care - we never risk shipping our machines as deck cargo. All freight movements are fully insured of course, so risks are minimised throughout the entire process.
